My floral journey began in my grandmother’s garden in Te Aroha, where as a young girl, I spent long, hot summers exploring her enchanting garden. Beautiful blue hydrangeas lined her sweeping driveway, while the sweet scent of red geraniums filled the hot air. Silver birch trees provided much-needed shade, with ‘her’ majestic mountain standing tall in the background.
The courtyard overflowed with vibrant blooms, and every surface in her sunroom was filled with various cuttings . Regular trips to Palmers garden centre with my Omi further ignited my passion and knowledge of botanics, with flowers remaining as my constant sanctuary to this day.

After a fulfilling career in the advertising industry and embracing motherhood, I decided it was time to follow my heart and become a qualified florist. Recently graduating from the MIT School of Floristry was a transformative experience that brought me closer to realising my long-held dream: opening my own floral studio.
